Ingredients


Dry Masalas for making kebab masala

  • Javitri (Mace)-1 
  • Black Cardamom- 2
  • Green Cardamom-3
  • Dry Coriander Seeds- 1table spoon
  • Cumin Seeds-1tablespoon
  • Small Piece of Cinnamon- 1/4 inch
  • Black Pepper

Ginger-Chili Paste
  • Green Chilies-2
  • Piece of Ginger-1/4 inch
  • Garlic Cloves-3
For Red Bean paste
  • Fried Cashews- 10-12 pcs
  • Fried Onion slices- 2 pcs
  • Red Boiled Kidney Beans-1cup
For Galouti Kebab paste
  • Medium Sized Boiled Potatoes-2
  • Kashmiri Chili Powder Red-1 teaspoon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Gram Flour (dry roasted Besan)-1/2 cup
  • Above Prepared Bean Paste

Oil (for shallow frying)


Steps to Prepare Veg Galouti Kebabs

 Prepare the Kebab Masala



Roast javitri, black cardamom, green cardamom, dry coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cinnamon, and black pepper in a dry pan until fragrant. Grind these roasted spices into a fine powder to create your special kebab masala.


 Fry Cashews and Onions



 Fry the onion slices until they become golden and caramelized.



Similarly, shallow fry the cashews until they turn golden.

 Prepare Red Bean Paste



Take ginger chili paste (made by grinding ginger, green chili, and garlic), fried onion, fried cashew, and boiled red beans, and using a grinder make a fine paste of it.    


 Mix Ingredients



Combine the boiled mashed potatoes & prepared red bean paste along with kebab masala, and Kashmiri red chili powder.


 Make a soft Kebab Dough



Incorporate dry roasted gram flour & salt into the mixture. Blend everything into a smooth paste.


 Form and Fry Kebabs



Shape the paste into small tikki (patty) forms. Shallow fry them in oil until they are golden Red and crispy on the outside.


 Serve and Enjoy
