Dinner without the inclusion of fresh lemonade is incomplete for me. Recently, I visited one restaurant and I found pink romantic lemonade on the menu. Quite fascinating and catchy for my eyes so I asked for one. Believe me, as soon as I took its first sip, I felt divine. It was so refreshing, soothing to have it that I couldn't stop myself from sharing this recipe of homemade pink-colored beverage using lemon and roses with all my dearies. I tried to create this recipe in an exact way and luckily I succeed.

So, no more waiting for you all because here you can find this refreshing and amazingly tasty lemonade beverage recipe with natural pink color attained only due to the use of natural fresh roses.

Ingredients

  • Fresh rose petals- 1/2 cup (dry rose petals can also be used)
  • Sugar- 1/2 cup
  • Squeezed lemon juice- 2 tablespoon
  • Ginger juice- 1 teaspoon
  • Rock salt- 1 teaspoon
  • Sparkling water/soda water- 250 ml
  • Rose essence- 1/4 teaspoon

Preparation Process

In this recipe, I'm using Indian rose petals because it has a beautiful pink color with natural fragrance which goes best for my recipe.

Clean and separate the rose petals from the flower. Wash all the fresh rose petals to remove the dust particles. If you don't have fresh petals then you can also use dry rose petals.

Heat a saucepan and add two cups of water.

Add fresh pink aromatic rose petals to the water.

Bring them to boil until the petals turn translucent.

Add half a cup of powdered sugar and keep cooking.

Boil the syrup on medium heat for about 5-10 minutes till it becomes a slightly thick syrup.

Keep the syrup aside to cool down. Once cool, take a big bowl, strain the syrup into it.

Note: Rose Syrup can be stored in a glass bottle or jar in the refrigerator for a week or more.

 Take an empty glass and pour 3-4 tablespoons of the prepared rose syrup into it.
