Ingredients
Major
- Bread slices- 4 (White/brown/multigrain bread)
Stuffing
- Crumbled Paneer/ cottage cheese-1 cup
- Finely chopped onion- 1
- Finely chopped green chili-1
- Finely chopped green coriander- 1 tablespoon
- Salt- 1/2 teaspoon (as per taste)
- Crushed black peppercorn-1/2 teaspoon
Other
Butter- 1/3 cup (or as required)
Preparation Method
Step-1
Take a big mixing bowl, add crumbled paneer, onion, chili, coriander, salt, and pepper into it.
Step-2
Mash and mix all the ingredients well to prepare the stuffing.
Step-3
Take two slices of bread. Spread butter evenly on both slices.
Step-4
Now take a tablespoon of filling and place and spread uniformly on one slice. Cover it with another slice of bread.
Step-5
Spread butter on both the outer side of the bread to toast.
Step-6
Toast the sandwiches on Tawa, griller, or toaster (as per availability) to make them crispy and golden in color.
Step-7
Cut the toasted bread into two. Serve them hot and crispy with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
