We all do make different chutney's at home like pudina, green coriander, masala, coconut, tomato, etc. Still, what bothers us always is the extravaganza-tasting chutneys we get in restaurants and on street stalls.
Although their chutneys taste different yet tastier than our homemade ones, home chutneys are always on my preference.
Whenever I have a special guest, I make special food, and for starters, I always make sure to includes this special quick green chutney for kababs and tikkas to relish. It's a perfect dip for all types of snacks and dinner.
So let's see how you can make it with ease at home.

How to Prepare green chutney for kababs
Ingredients
- Green coriander- 150gm
- Green chili-2
- Lemon juice- 1teaspoon
- Salt-to taste
- Cumin seed- 1teaspoon
- Coriander powder- 1tablespoon
- Black salt- 1 teaspoon
- Asafoetida- 1 pinch
- Yogurt/curd- 1 and 1/2 cup
Direction to make
- In a mixer grinder take all the ingredients except curd. Grind them well to form a nice chutney paste.
- Now take the curd and whisk to make it smooth. Also, add 1/4 teaspoon chat masala and 1/4 teaspoon black salt to the blended crud.
- Add two spoons of prepared green chutney paste and whisk well till it forms a beautiful light green color chutney.
Tip: Don't add any water to the curd while whisking and mixing.
