Tomato chutney is a type of chutney native to the Indian subcontinent. To prepare it, tomato is required as the main ingredient. This tomato chutney recipe can be prepared without peeling tomatoes and can be stored for two days for the best taste.

Recipe Of Tomato Chutney
Ingredients
- Big Size Tomato- 1 roughly chopped
- Garlic Cloves- 2
- Small Size Onion- 1 roughly chopped
- Green Chili-1
- Roasted Peanuts- 1/4 cup
- Salt- 1 teaspoon or as per taste
- Kashmiri Red chili powder-1 teaspoon (for color)
For tempering/Tadka
- 1/2 tablespoon Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
- 8-curry leaves
Method
- In a mixer grinder take all the above-mentioned ingredients and grind well to a smooth chutney paste.
- Once paste is ready, Heat oil in Tadka pan, add mustard seed, and curry leaves. Wait till it starts crackling.
- Add the Tadka to the prepared chutney paste. Tomato chutney is ready to serve with rice/ idli/ dosa and uttapam.
